Traditional B&W products have seen better days. Paper range and quality has dropped considerably, but there still is an excellent range to choose from, as we have discovered from testing numerous brands. Blanco Negro recently imported some FOMA FB, a stock very much like the old FORTE, may it R.I.P. If you enjoyed the Forte paper, then you will be most pleased with Foma. The paper is a chlorobromide emulsion, but also has the added benefit of being very versatile in different developers. It's like having three stocks in one. Another advantage is it surfaces. Again like Forte, the matte & gloss surface is easy on the eye, but they also have a textured finish, that is also multi-contrast. We are also currently testing Foma film, in 100, 200 & 400 speed.
